It has been a long time since I’ve posted. Life. Isn’t that really all there is to say? No. There was a new job in Cyber Security, which took a lot of my time. Little Libby passed over the rainbow bridge, which was devastating, and tore me apart. After some time I knew I couldn’t be alone anymore so I adopted a little puppy and named her Sophie. She’s so different. She’s two years old now, but still loves to play, has a big personality, is fearless, and loves to cuddle.
Then there’s this new project. I finally finished the book I’ve been working on since the pandemic. I decided to post the first chapter here for you to read and enjoy. The book is currently only available on Amazon as a Kindle ebook. It’s also available on Kindle Unlimited if you’re a member.
This is a fantasy story about a young woman who is chosen as the heir to the One Power. What she hasn’t told her royal family is she is unable to touch the power. Her story is one of pain, grief, and, eventually, triumph.

Sophie is asleep right now while I watch classic Doctor Who. I’m thrilled they’re showing the Tom Baker episodes. He’s my Doctor. The next book in this series is in progress and I’m loving what’s flowing out of my imagination. I’m thinking about continuing the reviews I’ve done in the past. If you’re interested let me know.
